Questions about the new Crews brand?

As we roll out our new brand, you will have general questions and concerns about the changes. That’s why we have provided these FAQs as a guide to address some of the questions you may have. It’s just part of our commitment to providing the same exceptional financial services you expect and trust.

Why is First State Bank of Arcadia changing its name?

First State Bank of Arcadia has fared well since we opened our doors in 1973. As we continue to grow and expand, we saw the need for a new name with a brand that both supports our past success, current banking presence and future vision built around service. We are proud to be a family owned bank and the name Crews Bank & Trust honors the legacy of the Crews family namesake and our customer relationships centered around trust.

Has First State Bank of Arcadia been acquired?

No, we are still owned by the same parent company (Crews Banking Corporation) as we have always been, and we will continue operating under the same leadership.

Why or how was the “Crews Bank & Trust” name chosen?

The Crews Bank & Trust name honors the bank’s family ownership as an independent community bank, reiterates the importance of trust in your bank and creates room for future growth and expansion.

How will this affect my service?

You can continue to expect everything you know and love about First State Bank of Arcadia, only with an updated name, look, and feel. Rest assured, there is no change in the way we serve you.

What about my accounts?

There are no changes. Your accounts will stay exactly the same. However, as part of the Crews Bank & Trust offering, we are excited to let you know that we are adding Trust and Investment Management Services.

Will my First State Bank of Arcadia debit or credit card still work?

Yes. However, Crews Bank & Trust Visa debit cards and credit cards will be issued over the next several weeks/months. Once you receive your Crews Bank & Trust Visa debit or credit card, you will need to activate it and your previous card will no longer work.

Can I still use my current First State Bank of Arcadia checks?

Your checks will work fine with the First State Bank of Arcadia name on it. However, the next time you reorder checks, the new ones will come with the Crews Bank & Trust name and logo.

Will there be any changes to the branches?

 You will see new signage as we transition to the new name. The branches and the faces that serve you will continue to be the same.

Are the hours changing?

No. Our hours will not be changing.

Will my loan officer or relationship manager be changing?

Not necessarily. You may have heard, we are expanding into Sarasota and Manatee Counties, and with this move, we might be bringing on additional staff. As we adjust workload, you might be assigned a different loan officer or banker.

Will automatic deposits or withdrawals to or from my checking or savings account still go through?

Yes. Your account number and our routing number will not change, so any automatic withdrawals or automatic deposits will still go through.

Will my Online Banking and Bill Pay change?

No. Although our website will change to reflect our new name, your online banking username and password will not. In addition, all of your Bill Pay accounts will transition over for Crews Bank & Trust.

Will my Mobile Banking change?

Yes. However, if you have auto-update assigned to your mobile apps, no action is required. If auto-updates is disabled, you will be prompted to update through the app store. The Crews Bank & Trust app will replace your existing app. If you don't have the mobile banking app, you can download it from the App Store or Google Play by searching "Crews Bank".

Is there anything else that I should expect or need to know?
