As we near the Super Bowl, today’s Chart of the Day is from Chartr and shows the boom in online monthly sports betting.As displayed in the chart, it started at next to nothing in 2018 when it was first legalized and is now over $15 billion a month. The rise in smartphone apps and advertising has fueled this rapid increase.
