Today's Chart of the Day from Statista shows us the attitudes of US adults towards eating healthy foods.

Eating heathy has increasingly become a cultural movement as awareness of nutrition, wellness, and preventive health has spread through social media and health campaigns.

This shift is especially pronounced among older populations, who often face greater health risks, making diet a practical way to maintain quality of life and independence. Older adults also have more time and resources to focus on meal preparation and food choices.

Those who struggle to maintain a healthy diet often point to high costs, limited time, and a lack of nutritional knowledge as key barriers to doing so. Even so, it seems healthy eating is becoming less of a chore and more of a lifestyle choice.
