A Hardee County native, Andrew joined Crews Bank & Trust in 2013 and has built his career around helping customers achieve their business goals. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from South Florida State College and graduated from the Florida Bankers Association School of Banking, where he served as class vice president.

Andrew remains active in his community through his involvement with the Central Florida Development Council and the Lakeland TigerTown Rotary Club. He is passionate about supporting local businesses and partnering with customers to meet their commercial banking needs.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife, sons and extended family. He also loves the outdoors, especially fishing and spending time on the water.

Born in Avon Park and raised in Winter Haven, Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics with a minor in psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, where he was a dean’s list student. He and his family have lived in Lakeland since 1990. Matt has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry in Polk County, serving as a commercial banker, business banker, and portfolio manager.

Matt and his wife of more than 34 years have two adult sons. He is a former council member for the Give Well Foundation, served 16 years on the Community Investment Team for United Way of Central Florida, was a booster for Harrison Performing Arts School guitar department and a volunteer for youth baseball. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, travel, sports, and spending time with family.

Brad joined the Crews Bank & Trust in August 2022 as a Vice President and Commercial Banker, bringing a long track record of helping businesses navigate complex decisions with an eye toward sustainable growth and profitability.

With a deep connection to Central Florida, Brad spent 25 years in the region’s financial industry, including two decades specializing in commercial real estate lending. He partners closely with customers, translating strategy into practical financing solutions that support day-to-day operations and long-term goals.

A sixth-generation Floridian, Brad earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration and human resource management from Florida Southern College and completed consumer lending training early in his career. He began his finance career in 1996, earned five financial planning licenses, and later graduated from Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking in 2013.

Over the years, he has built expertise in business and employee development, loan underwriting, and navigating government regulations, which allows him to help clients move confidently from opportunity to execution.

Brad is active in the Polk County community, with involvement that has included the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce and the Boys and Girls Club Committee. He is especially proud of being a mentor to two teenage boys at Florida Baptist Children’s Home.

In his spare time, Brad enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on college football.

Amanda joined the Bank in 2025 as a Residential Lending Officer, bringing with her over 17 years of experience in the banking industry. Prior to joining the Bank, she served as Vice President, Residential and Consumer Lending Officer, and Branch Manager at another financial institution in Florida.

Before transitioning into banking, Amanda spent several years in the insurance industry, further broadening her financial expertise. She currently holds Series 6 and 63 Investment and Investment Law licenses.

Amanda is committed to giving back to her community. She has been an active member of the East Polk County Association of Realtors and the Polk County Builders Association. Her leadership roles include serving on the boards of Girls, Inc. of Winter Haven and Kiwanis of Winter Haven. She has also led as the Winter Haven Chamber Ambassador and contributed to the Polk State Alumni Association.

A proud native of Haines City, Amanda comes from a family of lifelong Floridians. She now lives and works in Winter Haven. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events, reading, and staying active outdoors. She is also an active member of her church, the Winter Haven Worship Center.

With more than 25 years in the financial services industry, Amy Underwood is a familiar face in Florida’s banking landscape. Born and raised in the Sunshine State, Amy’s roots run deep. Her career began in Tampa, followed by a brief time in Georgia, before she joined Crews Bank & Trust in 2016 as a personal banker, eager to make a difference in her community. 

Her dedication quickly paid off. In 2017, Amy became branch manager in Winter Haven, and just four years later, she was entrusted with leading the new Lakeland branch, balancing the needs of both locations while nurturing business growth. In 2024, she was promoted to Vice President, Business Relationship Banker.  

In May 2026, Amy embraced a new challenge, becoming Treasury Management Sales Officer for the North market areas, including DeSoto, Hardee, Highlands, and Polk Counties. Her expertise and community involvement have made her a respected figure throughout the region. 

Beyond her professional achievements, Amy holds an associate degree in business management and is actively involved with the Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce, serving as an Ambassador and past Chair of the Foundation Board, where she’s been honored as a Presidential Ambassador multiple times. She is also involved with the Auburndale Chamber of Commerce and the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce. 

When she’s not working or volunteering, Amy cherishes time with her daughter and grandson. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time at the beach or in the mountains.

Scott garnered a wealth of banking and financial experience at banks in Lakeland and Riverview prior to joining the Bank in February of 2019. He served as a Branch Manager, Finance Center Manager, Vice President and Business Banker for various institutions. He proved adept at cross-training staff, increasing deposits, creating and monitoring loan programs, improving service and demonstrating high levels of community involvement.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he graduated from Canarsie High School. Scott moved to Florida in 1981. His extensive community involvement includes participating in the “Paint Your Heart Out” with the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, delivering food to seniors through VISTE (Volunteers in Service to the Elderly), supplying dictionaries to low-income schools through the Rotary Club of Lakeland North and providing belts, underwear, shoes and socks to students in those schools through the Rotary’s BUSS program. Scott is a former Rotary president who earned Paul Harris Fellow recognition from the Rotary Foundation.

He and Lori, his wife of more than 30 years, are the parents of two adult daughters. Scott enjoys hiking in Montana, Oregon, Utah and Washington, cruising, Fantasy Football and photography (taking pictures wildlife and waterfalls). Most of all, he likes spending time with his family.

Karla Huaman was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Retail Banking Officer of Crews Bank & Trust in 2024. She oversees both the Winter Haven and Lakeland branches, managing the day-to-day operations and creating a focused business plan for future growth and success in the Polk County area.

Karla was born in Peru and grew up in New York. She moved to Florida in 2018. She began working with the Bank in 2021 as a personal banker, bringing over 20 years of experience in the banking industry with her. At her previous financial institution, Karla served as a branch operations manager.

When not at work or volunteering, Karla enjoys spending time with her three children and visiting family around the globe including destinations such as Japan, Canada and Spain. She also dedicates some of her free time giving back to her community by participating in local food drives and distributing food to those in need.
