Burch and Bilodeau Named New Trust Officers at Crews Bank & Trust

Port Charlotte, Fla., March 25, 2024 - Crews Bank & Trust is happy to announce that Alyson Burch and Kris Bilodeau have been named as the Bank’s newest Trust Officers. Burch has more than 35 years of banking experience, while Bilodeau recently joined the Bank after spending more than 38 years in various roles in several local banks in Southwest Florida.

“Alyson has so much experience in so many facets of banking. She’s a wealth of knowledge and our clients will be in very capable hands,” noted Rich Emch, Senior Trust Officer, SVP. “And Kris brings all her experience and relationships from her prior roles to Crews, which have perfectly prepared her for this new role as Trust Officer. I am delighted that they have joined our team.”

A native of New Jersey, Burch started her banking career while still in high school and never left the industry. She moved to Port Charlotte in 1991 and spent time with another financial institution before joining the Bank in 1999 as a customer service representative. She worked as the branch manager in Punta Gorda before being promoted to branch operations coordinator in 2004. She was promoted to vice president in 2012, when she returned to the Punta Gorda office as retail and business banking officer.

Burch is an active member of the community as a member of the Punta Gorda Rotary Club (Past President), Board Chair at C.A.R.E. Center Victim Services Center and a board member of Do the Right Thing of Charlotte County. She is also past President of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of Leadership Charlotte class of 2004.

“I am proud to work for a bank that is dedicated to their employees, customers and community,” said Burch when asked about her time with Crews Bank & Trust. “I’m looking forward to assisting my customers with their estate and trust needs so they can relax and spend their time doing the things they enjoy with the people they love the most.”

Burch is married with two sons, one who is a nuclear machinist in the U.S. Navy and the other a student at UCF Orlando. She also has two German shepherds. Her favorite thing to do when not working is to spend time with her family (dogs included).

Bilodeau was born in New Hampshire, moved to Florida in 1979 and currently lives in North Venice. She graduated from Lemon Bay High School, earned her AA degree from Manatee Community College and her BA and MBA in Business Administration from St. Leo College, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She started her banking career as a teller after graduating from high school and worked her way through the ranks as customer service representative, branch lender, operations manager, branch manager, mortgage loan officer and her most recent role was as Mortgage Loan Originator before she joined Crews Bank & Trust.

She is a graduate of North Port Leadership, a Past President of both the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club on North Port Central as well as a member of the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce. Bilodeau is also a committee member of the Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity, serving on the Housing Selection Committee and as a Financial Education Volunteer.

“I love connecting with clients and helping them achieve their financial goals,” said Bilodeau, when asked why she was excited to join the Trust Services division of the Bank. “Helping to pave a clear financial path for the future allows our clients to better enjoy the present.”

In her free time, Bilodeau enjoys exploring all that Florida has to offer - kayaking, camping and visiting state and national parks.

Both Burch and Bilodeau will be assisting clients in the greater Charlotte County area. Burch can be contacted at 941-205-2720 or emailed at aburch@crews.bank and Bilodeau can be contacted at 941-624-1980 or emailed at kbilodeau@crews.bank.
