Crews Bank & Trust announces promotions for Worden and Elliott

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla., Sept. 2, 2026— Crews Bank & Trust has announced two promotions within its Charlotte County commercial banking team. Nick Worden has been promoted to Senior Vice President/Senior Commercial Banker for the Charlotte County market and Commercial Banker Chris Elliott has been promoted to Vice President.

Worden has been involved in banking for more than a decade, serving as a commercial banker in Charlotte, Collier, Lee and Sarasota counties. He also has experience in branch management, underwriting and credit management and portfolio management. He attended Edison Community College, now Florida SouthWestern State College; completed the first year of the Florida School of Banking curriculum; and participated in Omega Performance’s commercial lending training.

Committed to the community, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce and is a past president of the organization. A graduate of Leadership Charlotte, he served as president of the Class of 2016, chaired the Class of 2022 and was inducted into the Leadership Charlotte Hall of Fame in recognition of his leadership and community impact. His community involvement has also included serving as a board member of the Charlotte-DeSoto Building Industry Association, where he remains an active member.

Elliott, a lifelong resident of Englewood, began his career at Crews Bank & Trust in 2023 as a credit analyst after earning his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee. In 2024, Elliott transitioned into a commercial banking role, where he applies his financial expertise to support local businesses.

He is a graduate of the Leadership Englewood Class of 2026, having served as class president and serves on the resource and budget committees for the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce. He was recently elected to the chamber’s board of directors and is active in the Charlotte-DeSoto Building Industry Association and the REALTORS® of Punta Gorda-Port Charlotte-North Port-DeSoto.
