Crews Bank & Trust builds Fort Myers team ahead of branch opening

Fort Myers, Fla., July 1, 2026 — Crews Bank & Trust has announced that Kathryn “Kathy” Stefanski, Treasury Management Sales Officer; Joseph “Joe” DeCamp, Universal Banker; and Uriel Medrano, Commercial Banker, have joined the organization to support the bank’s continued growth in the Fort Myers/Lee County market. The bank plans to open its newest branch in August at The Park Shops at Andrea Lane, 14261 S. Tamiami Trail, Unit 5, Fort Myers.

Todd Rinehart, CCIM, City Executive, said Stefanski, DeCamp and Medrano each bring valuable experience, local insight and a shared commitment to serving clients and the community.

Kathryn “Kathy” Stefanski

Stefanski brings extensive experience in relationship banking and branch leadership. She previously served as a vice president and treasury management relationship manager, as well as a branch manager and assistant manager, with several local financial institutions. Originally from Michigan, she relocated to Florida in 2020.

“I’m excited to bring our newest branch to the Fort Myers area,” Stefanski said. As Treasury Management Sales Officer, she will support businesses with treasury management solutions designed to improve efficiency, help prevent fraud, manage cash flow and support growth.

In addition to her professional background, Stefanski is deeply committed to community involvement. She serves on the board of The Heights Foundation and the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce and as secretary for Keep Lee County Beautiful. She also is a Youth of the Year mentor with the Boys & Girls Club, reflecting her passion for giving back to the community she serves.

Joseph “Joe” DeCamp

DeCamp has called Cape Coral home for the past 29 years, having relocated from Westerville, Ohio. Before joining Crews Bank & Trust, he worked for financial institutions in Lee County, most recently serving as a relationship banker for more than 15 years.

A graduate of the University of Rio Grande, DeCamp earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management. He maintains Series 6, Series 63 and SIE licenses, is SAFE registered and holds a Florida Resident Insurance License – Life, including Variable Annuity.

Uriel Medrano

Medrano joined Crews Bank & Trust in May 2026 as a Commercial Banker for the Fort Myers/Lee County area. Born and raised in Southwest Florida, he brings a strong local perspective and a client-focused approach to financial services. Fluent in English and Spanish, Medrano is well-positioned to serve the area’s diverse and growing community.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in finance, with a minor in real estate, from Florida Gulf Coast University, Medrano gained experience in commercial real estate through property management, development analysis and investment strategy. His background includes financial modeling, asset optimization, and client advisory, providing him with a well-rounded foundation in commercial finance.

In addition, he holds a Florida real estate license and has earned the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification. Medrano is passionate about helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals through tailored banking solutions and long-term relationship building.
