Crews Bank & Trust Continues to Prepare for Unification

DeSoto County, Fla., July 28, 2023 – In the midst of an upcoming brand unification between long-time, family-owned banks including Wauchula State Bank, Charlotte State Bank & Trust, Crews Bank & Trust and Englewood Bank & Trust, Danielle Johnson has been promoted to Residential Loan Originator in the Crews Banking Family’s DeSoto County market area. In this position, she will be involved in producing a variety of residential loans as well as generating and managing a portfolio of customer relationships.

Born in Naples and raised in DeSoto County, Johnson is a Florida native. She holds an associate of arts degree in business management from Edison Community College (now known as Florida SouthWestern State College) and has over 50 certifications through the American Bankers Association.

“Danielle knows exactly what it means to offer personalized, local service” remarked Residential Loan Director Jamey Dodson. “For years, she has been a key aspect of our banking family while continually putting the needs of customers first. It is an exciting time for us, and I am looking forward to seeing where this new position takes her.”

Johnson has worked with the bank for over 25 years and has held many positions, including data supervisor, human resources manager, executive assistant and lead teller. Outside of the bank, she supports the DeSoto county community through activities such as 5k runs and DeSoto County Pioneer Days.

“I love Crews Bank & Trust because of the family atmosphere and getting the opportunity to serve the members of my hometown,” shared Johnson. “I'm looking forward to serving the citizens of DeSoto County in a new way and guiding them in acquiring the homes of their dreams.”

When asked about her spare time activities, Johnson remarked, “Family is everything to me!” She enjoys spending time with her husband, Tim, and children while camping, fishing, traveling, and working with their cattle.
