Crews Bank & Trust names Todd Rinehart City Executive for Lee County

Port Charlotte, Fla., May 20, 2026 - Crews Bank & Trust has named Todd Rinehart, CCIM, as City Executive for the Lee County market, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to continued growth and relationship-based banking in Southwest Florida.

In this role, Rinehart is responsible for the overall performance, growth and community presence of the bank across Lee County. He will oversee commercial lending, business banking, treasury management, and retail and wealth management, while leading market strategy and business development.

“We’re excited to have Todd leading our expansion,” said Crews Bank & Trust Chief Banking Officer M.W. "Larry" McLaren IV. “As we prepare to open our new Fort Myers branch, his leadership and long-standing ties to the community will play a key role in building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.”

The new full-service branch is expected to open in August. The office, located at The Park Shops at Andrea Lane, 14261 S. Tamiami Trail, Unit 5, will replace the bank’s Lee County loan office, which opened in 2016. The new space is being renovated to offer a full-service banking experience, blending modern technology with the bank’s signature hometown service.

Rinehart joined Crews Bank & Trust in 2019 and is widely recognized as one of Southwest Florida’s leading business bankers. With a career spanning more than four decades, he brings extensive experience across all aspects of the banking industry and a reputation for delivering exceptional client service. Prior to becoming City Executive, Rinehart served as a Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Banker at Crews Bank & Trust.

He began his banking career in 1978 while still in high school in Cape Coral, working part time through a cooperative education program while attending classes full-time. Over the years, he has developed a deep understanding of lending fundamentals, credit analysis, interest rate risk, and financial regulatory management and reporting.

Rinehart is a graduate of the Florida School of Banking at the University of Florida in Gainesville and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Barry University in Miami Shores. In 2024, he earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation from the CCIM Institute, a credential that signifies expertise in the commercial real estate profession.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Rinehart has a long history of community involvement. He serves on the board of the Southwest District of the Florida CCIM Chapter, is the past president and past treasurer/secretary of the Southwest Florida Junior Golf Association, and past chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral.

As City Executive, Rinehart will serve as the bank’s primary ambassador in the Lee County market, strengthening client and community relationships while driving disciplined growth and collaboration across all lines of business.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to lead our efforts in Lee County, especially as we open our new Fort Myers branch,” Rinehart said. “This is a dynamic and growing market, and I look forward to strengthening relationships and serving our clients with the hometown approach that defines Crews Bank & Trust.”
