Tim Birri Joins Crews Bank & Trust

Lakeland, Fla., May 29, 2025 – Tim Birri has joined Crews Bank & Trust as a Trust Officer. He brings years of experience in guiding clients in their estate planning to help them achieve their financial goals and create a legacy for their families.

Born in Michigan, Birri has lived in Florida for more than 50 years. He studied at Broward College and worked for Publix Super Markets for 35 years before changing careers and spending many years as a Financial Advisor prior to joining Crews Bank & Trust.

“Tim is a great addition to our team,” shared Lory Weisensee, President of Trust and Wealth Management. “He will be an essential part of our continued efforts of bringing trust services to the northern region of our market.”

Birri has held the following licenses:

- Series 7 – General Securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds)

- Series 66 – Uniform Combined State Law for securities agent and investment advisor representative

- Life and Health Insurance sales in Florida

A Lakeland resident, Birri is active in the Lakeland Rotary Club and has been involved in the Mulberry Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on the Polk County Sheriff’s Advisory Council. In addition, he volunteers with school and church youth activities.

Birri enjoys attending his children’s sports events, clay shooting, and practicing the piano, which he recently took up again. Birri and his wife, Lorena, have two daughters and a son.
