Commercial Banker, VP
James began his banking career in 1994 while still in high school. After accumulating more than two decades of experience in lending and finance, James joined the Bank in October of 2020. He filled similar positions locally and in his native Minnesota.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and an associate degree in management at Minnesota State University in 2001. Prior to moving to Florida in 2006, he spent time at a pair of firms in Minnesota, serving as a senior home equity representative, senior retail credit analyst, and lead underwriter.
In Florida, James held leadership positions as a Senior Vice President, Chief Credit Officer, and Vice President of Commercial Lending prior to joining the Bank. A graduate of Leadership Charlotte Class in 2009, James' education also includes graduating with honors from the Florida School of Banking in Gainesville in 2011 and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University in 2014, the same year he completed the Farr Leadership Institute.
James’ dedication to his profession and community is illustrated by his involvement in various organizations:

Residential Lender, VP
Prior to joining the Bank in 2014, Holly served in executive positions at lending institutions in Virginia and Michigan, gaining experience as a Marketing Manager, Office Manager/Processor, Vice President, Mortgage Loan Auditor, Operations Manager and Senior Vice President. She understands the intricacies of loan origination, pricing, loan calculation, contracts and closing documents.
While serving as Senior Vice President and Operations Manager of Secondary Marketing for a Virginia-based home funding firm, she supervised oversight of contracts, all aspects of licensing, and federal and state reporting requirements, among myriad other duties.
She is based at the Bank's Punta Gorda office and is a winner of the Charlotte Sun newspaper Readers’ Choice Award as Best Mortgage Officer. She has served as Treasurer of C.A.R.E. Auxiliary and is a longtime member of the Women’s Council of Realtors and a Tidewell Hospice House volunteer.
Retail Banking Officer, VP
Alyson joined the hometown bank in 1999 as a customer service representative and worked as the branch manager in Punta Gorda before being promoted to branch operations coordinator in 2004. She was made a vice president in 2012, when she returned to the Punta Gorda office as retail and business banking officer.
A New Jersey native, Alyson entered banking while still in high school, working part time at a bank in her home state. She continued her career after graduating in 1988, serving customers at a financial institution in New Jersey prior to moving to Port Charlotte in 1991. She was with another Charlotte County bank until being wooed away by us.
Alyson is an active member of the community and is currently a member of the Punta Gorda Rotary Club (Past President), Board Chair, C.A.R.E. (Center for Abuse and Rape Emergencies) and Board member Do the Right Things. Alyson is also Past President of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce (2016) and a graduate of Leadership Charlotte class of 2004.
