About Our Wauchula Branch
We opened for business in 1929 and are still going strong. Our landmark clock was installed on the northwest corner of the bank building in 1952 and is still operational today. It functions as a landmark symbol of our tradition and history.
J.W. Crews Sr. was a part owner and employee when we opened. He was named president after acquiring controlling interest in 1932. The Crews family has continued its involvement over the years. A fourth-generation family member, J.W. “Jake” Crews IV, joined the management team in 2010 and served as president from 2016 until he became Chief Executive Officer.
