Today’s Chart of the Day from Visual Capitalist ranks the poorest 10% and richest 10% daily personal incomes in various countries. It shows that the poorest 10% in the United States are better off or just slightly under a third of the highest 10% in other countries. The US also has the top 10% of all other countries shown. For all our faults, things like this remind me of Winston Churchill’s quote, “Capitalism is the worst economic system, except for all other.”
