Today’s Chart of the Day comes from Charlie Bilello, @charliebilello on X, and shows the average annual premiums for employer family health coverage. In 2000 it was $6,000. In 2022 it was $22,000. That's a 250% increase, which is just under 6% annually and is why, when doing financial planning, we use a higher inflation figure for healthcare costs.
