Today’s Chart of the Day comes from the Financial Times and shows the dominance of the US dollar in central bank reserves globally, represented in dark blue.Even though we may read things that say the opposite is true, outside of the US, a majority of the world thinks the US dollar is still the most reliable. This is supported by our rule of law, free society, strong military, and stable government, and though it may not be perfect, it is still the best in the world.
