Today’s Chart of the Day is from the Wall Street Journal. Some things have not gone back to “pre-pandemic” days. One is the percentage of those who continue to work from home.This is evident in the chart by the drop in passenger trips on public transit. The trend is returning but leveling off. According to the article, the result is a 38% decline in the value of office property since before the pandemic. Permanent or transitory? Only time will tell.
