Today's Chart of the Day is based on Vanguard's The state of retirement readiness in three charts and shares some interesting insight into retirement readiness across four generations.

Despite facing challenges like higher debt levels and housing affordability concerns, Gen Z has the highest share of people on track for retirement at 47%. The data suggests that broader access to employer-sponsored retirement plans and stronger participation in deferred compensation programs could be giving Gen Z a head start, setting them up to reap the benefits later in life.
