Today’s Chart of the Day is from Jon Erlichman and shows what I like to call the “Brand Wheel". The chart shows that essentially 11 companies control most of the brands we are familiar with. For example, when you think of Pepsi, it's interesting to learn that in addition to Pepsi and all the other 37 flavors of soda under the Pepsi, Sierra Mist, Mountain Dew, and Mug Root Beer banners, PepsiCo has a plethora of other brands, each of which has their own extensive list of flavors.
